Saturday morning found us back on the parade route, which was a convenient block or so from our condo. Three West Bank parades rolled one after the other: Choctaw, Allah, and Mystic Knights of Adonis. These are very much family-oriented parades. It was fun to watch the delight on the faces of the little ones. We brought our folding chairs and set them up in the neutral ground. We'd caught enough beads the night before to satisfy us, so we planned to be observers only. See below for how that turned out!
What can I say -- we were bead magnets! The riders seemed to target us. I had to duck from a whole bag of beads headed toward my head.
